The Hottest Market for Cloud Services in 2012: SMBs

According to a recent Gigaom post, the use of cloud services by small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) is becoming the default method for IT. The post predicts that SMBs “will continue to embrace cloud at an accelerated pace, faster than the enterprise adoption rate.”

I agree with these predictions, and believe that cloud services are a great resource for SMBs in all industries. These services offer a variety of solutions, allow easy access to high-level functionality, and many providers offer data centers and hosting for external storage.
