Leadership

Kristen Tischhauser, Co-founder & Managing Partner

Kristen brings a decade of public relations and marketing experience to talkTECH Communications, specializing in the lifestyle and technology arenas. Her multi-faceted approach in delivering strategic, results-oriented PR campaigns and launches, expertise in media relations, and grassroots branding tactics has a proven track record. Under Kristen’s direction, the firm has developed into one of fastest-growing U.S. PR firms for early stage tech startups.

As co-founder of talkTECH, Kristen has facilitated top tier media coverage in numerous print and digital publications including Inc., Forbes, The Huffington Post, Entrepreneur, The Next Web, Fast Company, Mashable, TechCrunch, G4, GigaOM, ChannelPro, Gizmodo, Wired.com, CBS Tech Talk, Los Angeles Times, and L.A. Weekly; and broadcast outlets including Reuters TV, CNN, The Today Show, and HLN.

Prior to talkTECH, Kristen was the Director at a lifestyle boutique agency in Chicago, where she managed a variety of noteworthy clients and high profile events such as Victoriaʼs Secret, Yogen Früz, Chef Radhika Desai (BRAVO TVʼs Top Chef: New York), StarChefʼs Rising Stars Gala, Christian Sirianoʼs Love Games Fashion Show, AKIRA, Mandy Mooreʼs Gain Challenge Concert, and VenusZine.

Kristen graduated with a B.A. in Public Corporate Communications from Butler University and is involved with organizations such as Girls in Tech, Women 2.0, Public Relations Society of America (Los Angeles chapter), and has taught at General Assembly LA and Coloft Academy. She is also an Advisor to Bfore.me and a founding board member of the Stimulus Social Club, an organization that allocates charitable contributions to local non-profits through monthly events. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

 

Chathri Ali, Managing Partner

Chathri is a rising star in the world of startup marketing and PR, and as Managing Partner for talkTECH drives all high-level operations, strategy and account management for clients.

Prior to joining talkTECH, she held executive roles at Los Angeles’ leading startups including Vice President of Marketing at Little Black Bag and the Director of New Media at Opportunity Green. As producer of her own tech news podcast, LATech.TV, Chathri conducted interviews with enterprise companies such as HP, Microsoft, and Google, as well as startups in the mobile application space.

Her focused, strategic approach to launching startups has led to placements in TechCrunch, The Next Web, Fast Company, InStyle Magazine, Glamour Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and over 2 million views of partner videos on YouTube.

Chathri earned her MBA from UCI Merage School of Business and her undergraduate degree in business from USC Marshall School of Business. She has been a guest lecturer at the UCLA Extension School in green marketing, spoken on the UCLA Anderson CIBER Global Careers Panel, and provided expertise in Marketing for the Internet MBA class at UCI Merage School of Business.
